No, it is not possible to watch 1000 000 because you only live for atleast 90 years so if you dont sleep or dont work or eat or even clean you still wont be able to wacth i million hours of tv.

ReplyDeleteStep 1: Restate the problem: Do you think one person can 1 million hours of t.v in a life time?
ReplyDeleteStep 2:Choose a strategy: My strategy was to write an equation or use a formula.
Step 3: Solve the problem using your strategy:
365 days= 1 year
lifetime= 90 years
90 years = 32850 days.
1 day = 24 hours
24 x 32850 = 788400 hours of t.v
Step 4: Go back and check: We used a calculator to check our math.
Step 5: Communicate your results: It is
impossible to watch 1000 000 hours of t.v in a lifetime because if you watched television all day and night every day without eating or sleeping. It would be 788400 hours of television which is not anywhere close to 1 million hours.
Therefore, you can't watch 1 million hours of t.v in a lifetime.

It is impossible because it is not over 1000 000 thereforeit is not possible to watch 1000 000 hr. of telivision in the average life time.
